Daniel Hermann (b. 1994) received his BFA at the University of Akron in photography with minors in printmaking and art history. Daniel’s past work depict and portray nudity in different forms. His poses, along with compositions, initially were appropriated from classical painting and sculpture. His current work deals with supermarkets and some of the stereotypes linked to products. Daniel’s work has earned him many prestigious awards such as the The Folk Charitable Foundation Venice Biennale International Travel and Study of Art Scholarship, The Olson Photography Scholarship, Mervyn F. Danison Memorial Scholarship, along with two Bronze level Scholarships for the Myers Art Studio Scholarship Competition.
